The Ronald S. Lauder Collection

The Ronald S. Lauder Collection
A rare glimpse into one of the world’s most extraordinary private art collections, The Ronald S. Lauder Collection catalogs two landmark exhibitions at Neue Galerie New York, marking the museum’s tenth and twentieth anniversaries. Designed to showcase Lauder’s lifelong passion for collecting, these volumes trace the breadth of his acquisitions, spanning Greek and Roman antiquities, medieval treasures, Old Master paintings, and the revolutionary art and design of early twentieth-century Austria and Germany. The first book, published in 2011, introduced audiences to six major collecting areas, featuring masterpieces by Klimt, Cézanne, Kandinsky, and Picasso. A decade later, the second volume revealed the collection’s continued evolution, including new acquisitions and an expanded vision of Lauder’s connoisseurship. Designed in collaboration with Pandiscio Green, both books balance scholarly depth with elegant presentation, mirroring Lauder’s own commitment to art of beauty, quality, and rarity.
