The Mark Hotel

The Mark Hotel
Named “#1 City Hotel in the US” and “#1 Hotel in New York City” in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards, The Mark Hotel stands as a pinnacle of luxury hospitality, seamlessly blending past and present. Housed in a historic 1927 building, it was transformed into one of New York’s most sought-after destinations, uniting timeless sophistication with a bold, modern edge. With interiors by Jacques Grange and world-class dining by Jean-Georges Vongerichten, the hotel quickly became a cultural landmark, attracting a discerning clientele and serving as the preferred prelude to the Met Gala.
Working with Pandiscio Green and under the creative direction of Alexander Kellas, I helped develop the visual identity and branding that shaped The Mark’s distinctive presence. A key element of the marketing campaign was the work of illustrator Jean-Philippe Delhomme, whose signature style infused the brand with wit and sophistication, reinforcing its blend of opulence and playfulness. From the striking black-and-white marble lobby infused with a bespoke fragrance by Frédéric Malle to its seamless integration into Manhattan’s social and artistic fabric, The Mark has set a new standard for contemporary luxury. The result? As Vogue put it, “It’s just so glamorous.”
